DCboardz now offers two models of skateboards. The 'AL-X' durable standard wooden deck AND a 'custom order only' carbon pro model.

model: AL-X

Young up and rising sk8'er Alex Sorgente inspired me to get into skateboards. The kid is unreal. His father first asked me if I could make a lighter and better skateboard.. Of course, I said yes!. And this began my trip into skateboards. After perfecting the Carbon pro, I wanted to offer a regular wooden deck with custom AL-X graphics for Alex to tour with and available to everyone.

The 'AL-X' wooden decks are made in the USA from top quality woods and glues sporting custom limited edition graphics by artist Lorenzo .

Model: Carbon PRO.

The carbon pro model carbon skateboardwas a project I worked on with Alex for over a couple seasons to develop the lightest most responsive board that would give him a competitive edge and allow him unlimited progress. Made with a high tech core and 100% carbon fiber, this board is almost 50% lighter than a regular wooden board. Tricks are higher and due to the lighter weight, the center of rotation in tricks is lowered towards the trucks (now the heaviest part of the board) resulting is great control and higher speeds of rotation and flips.

More information and pictures coming soon.

Lorenzo Quintanilla

At a young age Lorenzo Quintanilla from the Netherlands was born with a large interest in drawing.
Born in 1986 and at the age of 17 attending the Graphic Lyceum he learned to use other material besides pencil and started to work with paints. After a few setbacks he developed a fixed unique style of his own.
His work was first brought into the public eye in 2003, and from then on, his work progressed rapidly with requests for expositions, contracts and for several art projects..

His ideas are visible and his emotions are tangible. "human emotions" And that's all seen in his work. He developed a recognizable style of his own inspired by the Moai's from the Easter Island, Chile, and the country where his fathers’ roots lie.
He is not particularly inspired by the great masters in art but more by things that are happening around him in daily life which gives him that fresh ‘urban graffiti’ edge.
Lately, besides painting, he is also busy with other disciplines in art, like sculpture, photography and digital art. Ck out his web site! CLick on the image below.
